Emotional Freedom Techniques Basics

Emotional Freedom Techniques is a revolutionary new therapeutic tool that provides rapid, dynamic, short-term therapy for phobias, addictive urges, and traumatic memory. In this interactive two-day workshop participants will be introduced to the body’s energy systems and how they can be used to treat both emotional and physical issues.  Grounded in the 5,000 year-old concepts of Chinese Medicine, EFT is like acupuncture for the emotions.  However, there are no needles or other invasive protocols.  Participants will develop and understanding of, and a practical application of the gentle, meridian based modality called Emotional Freedom Techniques.  This EFT workshop will prepare the practitioner to immediately begin using this exciting modality to facilitate rapid healing within current practice.

Facilitator: Nancy Gnecco, M.Ed., LPC , EFT Master
Nancy Gnecco holds a Master’s Degree in Education, and is a licensed counselor in the state of Maine. She is an Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) Diplomat, and an EFT Master with extensive training in energy psychotherapy modalities.  She has used, and taught Emotional Freedom Techniques and other energy psychotherapy modalities for eleven years.  Nancy maintains a private counseling practice in Portland and Kennebunk, Maine where she specializes in helping people come into alignment with their soul’s purpose by using Energy Psychotherapy modalities to clear the traumas, destructive life patterns, and negative beliefs that have prevented people from living lives of emotional freedom and personal peace.  She has taught variations of the workshop since 1997, both in private and public settings such as the University of New England.  For more information on Nancy and her work, please visit her site: www.nancygnecco.com

In this intermediate-level, interactive, two-day workshop, participants will develop an understanding of, and a practical application of advanced practices in Emotional Freedom Techniques. This Intermediate Level EFT workshop will prepare the practitioner to immediately begin using these advanced techniques to facilitate rapid healing within current practice. Special attention will be given to addressing physical issues from the mind/body perspective, and how do work by telephone.
